Privacy Policy

The short version

The Apps are fully offline. They run entirely on your device. We operate no servers, collect no analytics, and receive no data from the Apps — ever. We have no way to see what you enter, because none of it is sent to us or to anyone else. This isn't a setting you can turn on or off; it's how the Apps are built.

What we collect

Nothing. The Apps do not transmit data off your device. We do not operate a backend, cloud database, or analytics service that receives information from the Apps. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or behavioral SDKs.

Information stored on your device

The Apps store the information you enter — shift notes, goal tracking, medication administration records, and similar caregiving documentation — in a local database on your device only. This data never leaves the device except when you deliberately choose to export it (see "Exporting and sharing data" below).

The Apps are designed to use anonymous identifiers only. Residents and homes are referenced by codes such as R1R10 and H1H10. The Apps do not ask for, store, or require resident names, dates of birth, addresses, or other directly identifying information. The mapping between an identifier and a real person is known only to authorized caregivers and is maintained outside the Apps. As a result, the data inside the Apps is not, by itself, tied to an identifiable individual.

Exporting and sharing data

When you choose to export a record (for example, emailing a clinical log or report), the App hands the file to your own device's mail or sharing application. You control where it goes and whether to send it. We are not a party to that transmission, we do not receive a copy, and the data does not pass through any infrastructure we control.

Because exports leave the protected environment of the App, you are responsible for ensuring that anything you send complies with your organization's policies and applicable law.

Permissions

The Apps may request device permissions strictly to provide their features — for example, microphone access for on-device voice dictation, or storage access to save and share exports. Voice processing happens on your device; audio is not sent to any server for transcription. Permissions are used only for the stated feature and for nothing else.

The website (dspsuite.app)

If you contact us through the website (for example, a demo-request or contact form), we receive the information you choose to send us — typically your name, email address, and message — solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising. This Privacy Policy covers the Apps; the website may use standard hosting logs as described by its host.

HIPAA

The Apps are designed to support HIPAA compliance through their offline-first, anonymous-identifier architecture — no protected health information is transmitted to us, and the Apps do not require directly identifying information to function. However, HIPAA compliance is ultimately the responsibility of the covered entity or business associate using the software. You remain responsible for safeguarding your device, controlling access, and using the Apps in a manner consistent with your obligations under HIPAA and any agreements with your organization.

Children's privacy

The Apps are professional tools intended for caregiving staff and are not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Apps evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
